The Statewide Emergency Food and Anti-Hunger Network (SEFAN) serves as a voice for the emergency food community and the people they serve, the over 800,000 New Jersey residents who struggle with hunger and food insecurity in their daily lives.
SEFAN...
provides information and technical support to a network of over 900 emergency food providers throughout New Jersey.
educates the public and policy makers about hunger in New Jersey.
advocates for appropriate policy responses to the problem of hunger on the federal, state, and local levels.
works with other anti-poverty advocacy organizations to address the root causes of hunger and to create long-term solutions to this growing problem.
Pantry Linkhelps potential donors, as well as those in need, to connect with emergency food providers in their community.
